This is a great product. Within 3 days my dogs were completely trained. Neither of my 2 dogs hit the fence more than twice. It is a good idea if you buy this product to buy extra batteries because the batteries in one collar quit after 2 1/2 weeks. I really like that the range from the control box can be adjusted. I went camping and fixed the range to match the campsite and the system worked wonderfully.

Beware, the description of this product does not mention that it ONLY works with a RF-100 transmitter. Unfortunately this is only revealed after you almost cut your fingers by opening the horrible clam-shell packing and see it written on the reciever. When you have a RF-125 transmitter, like I have, this thing doesn't work. I will have to see if Amazon is willing to refund an opened package.

We have had this system for seven years and have had very little trouble with it. Unlike the wired inground systems, there are no wire breakage issues, and it will NOT shock your dog on the way back to your house if they managed to run through. The perimeter will always be a circle, so keep that in mind if you have a long, narrow lot. We have found the batteries much cheaper on amazon. The best price was $15 for a set of four, including shipping. Follow the video and set up the flags to train your dog. Do NOT just plug it in and let your dog find out for itself about the new perimeter. It will become neurotic and afraid of the yard.

We have three small dogs. We have pad trained them as well as taking them outside. We use a large pad holder by Iris with this pads. Many days they do not even use the pad, but it is always available. However if we need to go out for any length of time they make use of them. I have two chihuahuas and need a very absorbent pad. I used to order wonderful pads from another company but they substituted this thick, absorbent pad with a larger, but cheaper, less absorbent pad so I came to Amazon, read reviews for this pad and ordered a small pack of the extra-large (approximately 23 x 36). They are great! However, they are really too expensive to use all the time so I use one for overnight and one if we are going to be away for most of the day. I use regular pads bought from another source for the rest of the time. I wish these were more economical, we would like to use them all the time. I will continue to search for a more economical superabsorbent pad (if there is such a thing). I gave these pads 4 stars, but would have given them a 5 if not for the price.

I've tried a number of different brands, and I think these are by far the best pads. My puppy likes and uses them, they are very absorbent, the filling doesn't bunch up inside the pad, and if my puppy ever decides to rip up the pads, this doesn't result in white filling all over the house (these rip somewhat more neatly into strips). You could probably avoid the ripping issue altogether by getting the tray you can buy with these (though I haven't tried it).

We had regular wooden baby gates to keep our two small dogs from going upstairs and they worked well enough but then I became pregnant and decided I wanted a walk-through gate so I didn't have to step over or remove the gate entirely every time I wanted to go upstairs. We choose this gate because it's wide enough to fit in our stairwell opening and because of the wide walk-though area. I Love this gate. We just leave the handle pulled up so we don't have to push the button every time we want to walk through it but I like that it's available for when the wee one will be old enough to start tugging on it. We also rent so pressure-mounted was important and after properly installing it (which I admit was a bit tricky) it hasn't budged at all in the past 6 months. It's very study! I just bought another one because I like it so much.

This barrier worked really well for me. I have a Jeep Wrangler and it fit really well. However, I have only a 24# dog, so not sure about a bigger dog. Mine just gave up trying to get over, under and around the barrier. I think the only way a big dog could get through would be to go over, unless it chewed the cover. It works great for me.

The reservoir fits on and the fountain works great. The only problem is that my cat has decided that he likes to attack it. It is pretty easy for the bottle to be knocked off and spill everywhere. The top is also very hard to unscrew and therefore hard to refill. The bowl isn't really big enough for my dog (golden retriever) and cat to drink from it all day without being refilled (why I bought the reservoir).

Works great, but one thing to know if you find the reservoir continually overflowing the bowl: the o-ring lining the grove in the lid is essential! I learned this the hard way - my reservoir did not come with the o-ring, and for the life of me I could not figure out why it kept overflowing the bowl. Finally my scientist boyfriend figured out that without some sort of o-ring to seal it, little bits of air escape out the threads of the lid, causing the water to flow out without stopping. I then read the instructions, and sure enough, there is supposed to be an o-ring in the lid! We ended up finding something at Lowes that worked in a pinch - "TEF Valve Packing 5/32" x 18" rope" - but I'll probably end up calling the manufacturer and request the actual part be sent to me. Works like a dream now - but I rate it one star short of five because it was missing the essential piece!

I'd had the Drinkwell fountain for a couple weeks, as I wanted to test and see if I really needed this additional reservoir (I had a feeling I would, with 3 cats and a smallish dog). And, yeah, I do!

While the fountain holds more water than my old Petmate fountain, having the ability to add this reservoir is one of the additional things that sold me on Drinkwell.

I generally don't fill mine up to the very top, as it simply "rests" on the back of the unit - it seems really secure, but with my rambunctious brood, I don't want to chance that they'll somehow knock over and I'll come home to all 50 ounces on my floor. Even so, only filling it up half way gets me three days of use before having to fill it again (I do have another water dish in another part of the house that sees quite a bit of use). Before I added the reservoir, I was adding water nearly every day.

Cleaning it is so easy, since it's plenty big enough for me to jam my hand and dishrag down in there.

I did have small troubles with getting the lid/seal to fit back on after it's first cleaning --- I was rushing, and just jammed it all together, and tossed it on the fountain.... came back 10 minutes later to discover that I hadn't gotten the seal properly in the lid before putting it together, and this caused it to leak continuously. Lake Westgate had formed. Oy. It was my malfunction, but it's something to be aware of - that little gasket ring must be properly in place, or you'll be sad. And likely have wet socks. And have little wet animal prints on darn near everything.

Still - it's a 5 star item... the pair of fountain and reservoir have made my critter watering tasks much more simple AND I know they are drinking the water they need (instead of licking the tub, for instance).

the fountain runs out of water everyday and creates a very loud, obnoxious noise. when i bought the reservoir it continually ran through the water so that it flooded the fountain and my floor. i called the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement lid, saying it sometimes floods if the lid is curved. the replacement they sent me looks just like the old one and i'm afraid to use it. waste of money!

I wish I'd found this indoor pet barrier years ago. No more telling the pooch "OUT" every several minutes. On Day 1, my assertive mini poodle quickly learned that going into the kitchen was off limits. He was startled the first time he went through the barrier. But quickly realized that the 3 warning beeps mean "move back quickly" to avoid a shock. He has tested the outer perimeters to see how far he can get before the beeps, but other than that, he's only gone into the kitchen twice (through the invisible barrier) and after getting a little shock, quickly got out. BUYER BEWARE: This system is not foolproof. We put a second unit at the base of the stairs. He has figured out that if he gets quick momentum then runs fast enough up the stairs, that the invisible barrier doesn't realize he even went through it. No beeps, no shock. SO, we think the only solution is to put a third unit at the top of the stairs, where he slows down and the system will detect and warn him. IN SUM: PetSafe Pawz Away indoor barrier is worth every penny. But if you are using this unit to keep your pooch from running out the front door, there's a risk he will just run past it and still get out. I suppose it depends on the temperment of your dog. Mine is daring and strong-willed.

My dog zombie is a 24.5 lb terrier mix who loves him some cat food. In fact, four cats worth of food. We have tried everything to keep him away. We scolded him, threatened with the slipper, moved the food to an area where he wasn't supposed to go, all to no avail. Then I got the petsafe pawz away barrier. Like another reader I tested it on myself first and in my honest opinion its mild, but enough to provide a shock. Like a bad static electricity shock from a door knob. It was easy to set up- the hardest part was opening the package itself. (I hate those sharp plastic boxes). Three zaps later, and I don't even need the collar anymore! Even if I throw a toy against the cat bowls, he wont go near em (not wearing the collar mind you). Very happy with this product- just wish it were a little less expensive since I really only used it for a day and a half.

My 70 lbs German Shepherd started limping recently. After playing outside for 30 to 60 minutes, he'd limp the rest of the day. We took him to the vet. They said he has elbow dysplasia in one elbow, but the other one is fine. He already has dysplastic hips, only one of which we were able to correct via TPO surgery a few years ago.

The vet recommended Dasuquin while discussing the diagnosis. I didn't expect much since we all know that medicine is a voodoo science. However, I have been extremely surprised at how well this stuff works, once we got into the routine of remembering to include it with his dinner. My dog doesn't limp anymore. Even after multiple hours of chasing things in the back yard he will be trotting fine. It's been about three months since we started Dasuquin.

Good stuff, definitely give it a try if you're on the fence. It really surprised me.

My 2.2 pound 11 week old puppy loves to play with/shred his pee pads. Ever since I've put the pads in the tray, he has not tried to play with them. I have the small and medium trays for different areas in the house. They also help to ensure that he pees/poops on the pad, not half on it or near it. There is a slight lip that he has to step up over. This is not to say he is accident free, but when he is on the pad, everything stays on/in. Great product.

The floor protection tray is big enough and weighted enough and really would work if the pads for it were not made too small.

The pads need to be longer and the frame made with some type of catch so a puppy (or older) can't just pull the pad

out of the tray. Just a waste of money on the tray because the pads made for the product are too short and don't work any better

than the cheaper brands available everywhere without having to order online. Very disappointed.

The two strays I'm feeding outside sleep on the warmers and seem to be doing quite well this winter. I still

I have a Jack Russell Terrier who is 10 years old, 10 inches high, and 10 pounds, rather small for a JRT, but like all JRTs she has a big dog heart in a small dog body. I have been looking for a while for a good treat that would keep her busy for a while and the Flossies fit the bill. However the price kept me from treating her very often. (I have seen these for $4.09 a piece!) Then the vet told me her teeth needed cleaning (actually, they are not that bad at this point). So I gave the Flossies another look. At this price, a bit more than $2 a piece, I can afford to give her one every other day. A LOT cheaper than teeth cleaning AND I don't have to worry about her being anesthetized. (Of course, I am also using a couple of natural products to clean her teeth and keep them clean.) She really goes to town on the Flossies, scraping away on those back teeth, which is exactly what I like to see. One Flossie lasts about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the size and shape of the particular Flossie. A few notes in response to other reviewers -

(1) Flossies are a natural product, thus the size and shape varies from one to the next. All in all, they are remarkably uniform, considering. So don't expect the perfection of extruded by-product or undigestable fiber.

(2) Flossies are a natural product, so they smell when combined with dog saliva. As long as you expect it, it isn't horrible. Again, I would rather have that smell than some artificial "spearmint" thing from a plastic toy.

(3) ANY TIME your dog is chewing on a Flossie or any other rawhide or fake rawhide toy/treat, YOU should be aware/watching. Any dog will, from time to time, get it in their head that they need to swallow what's left of their treat before they are really finished, usually to protect it from another pet or from you. Don't leave a dog unsupervised with any edible treat like this or you may end up fishing a curly piece of Flossie out of their throat, especially if you have a dog that tends to swallow things whole or inhale their food.

(4) This is the cheapest price I have found and I have looked EVERYWHERE. (And this is a lot cheaper than teeth cleaning!) If you find a better price for REAL Merrick Flossies, please tell us all!

The only way this would be better if it was available on Amazon Prime and I could guarantee I would get it in two days with free shipping.

Our 10 month old lab could not live without her daily flossie! If we say flossie she will run straight to the box from anywhere, including outside. She eats them pretty quickly, so sometimes I put it through an everlasting treat ball (a rubber ball, with slots on both sides that you are supposed to put their biscuits in, but our dog gets them out too fast and could choke on them). NOTE: Beware of the sizes. I thought I wanted Large, but once I actually researched the sizes, Large would have been entirely too big (almost as big as my dog and bigger than our own stockings!). I ended up getting the Small for my dog and the Mini (available elsewhere) for my cats.

Small - 7.5"W x 17"L

Large - 9"W x 18"L

This stocking is the perfect size as it actually is big enough to hold an AKC plush squirrel or mallard duck and several other dog treats. The fabric is soft, the stocking is a true cool red color, and the green paw print shapes are nicely statin stitched onto the red stocking. I was also plesantly surprised to find that it arrived wtih a complimentary gold glitter pen. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is that the glitter doesn't adhere very well to the fabric used for the white part of the stocking; everytime the fur moves, the glitter breaks apart and since it is "fur" the name cannot be embroidered or stitched on. If you don't have little children this won't be a problem, but I have a 3 year old that keeps touching the stocking so the letters keep "falling off."

I picked this carrier as a comfortable alternative to the plastic carriers for my two guinea pigs. I needed something practical and comfortable when traveling (guinea pigs are prone to stress...the plastic ones aren't really soft enough so when they jump around they can hurt themseleves).

I'm giving this carrier 5 stars because it is perfect for me and my purpose, but I don't know that it would be perfect for anybody else using it for its intended animals (dogs and cat's not 2-pound guinea pigs). The large is a good size for my pigs, they have some space to waddle around and can both stretch out with room to spare. However, unless I was going on a very short trip (like to the vet) I wouldn't want to put my cat in there - she is an average sized cat, certainly not overweight or excesively large, and I really don't think she would have any space at all.

I would reccomend this carrier for a small dog or cat (toy chihauha, tea cup yorkie, kitten, munchkin cat, etc) but anything normal-cat-sized or larger is definitely going to need a bigger carrier.

My dog is a boston terrier chihuahua mix. I picked this carrier because of the price and size, as well as the visibility and seat belt options. Unfortunately though, I have barely used it. My dog doesn't like it much, as it is a bit cramped for her height. She is 14lbs and an inch or so too tall. more problematic is that it is too easy for her to get out. She climbs right out of the partial opening and there is nothing to attach a harness to so that she can't climb out. It works ok if I don't unzip the side, but I was looking for something that had this option so that she wasn't so confined. Also, it would be much better if there were a top entrance in addition to the side. Overall, the bag looked nice and was well constructed, but it just wasn't very practical.

My little chi loved these when she found out they squeek. She wasn't strong enough to squeek them herself but she loved it when I did it for her. My one complaint was, after a couple of months of use, one lost its ability to squeek and the other two developed holes along the white seam lines. I bought this bowl for my outdoor cat and placed it in the (mostly unheated) outdoor shed where her bed is, and so far have been very happy with its performance. It's winter in SW PA, so temperatures vary from below 20F to mid-40s. It's such a relief to know that she has water available to her 24/7 - before, I was having to change it out at least twice a day, and it was frozen solid every time. I chose this larger size to account for evaporation in case we have to leave for a few days. The cord cover is a very nice feature, and the cord is fairly long as well. I do have it on an extension cord (despite the directions) out of necessity as our shed is not wired, and have had no problems so far.

Wasn't sure how it would work on our 137 lb English Mastiff, but my fears were unjustified. Following the directions, we let her see it for a few days, listen for a few days, touch her with it for a few days prior to trimming her nails. It worked great. Her nails are extremely large and thick, and the grinder didn't slow down a bit. The Vet said they were as nice as she could have made them look. I had a retractable leash from PetSmart that lasted a a few years before the retractable portion started to falter, so based on reviews, I thought this would be the perfect replacement. It worked great for the a month, then yesterday, as I was turning a corner, the cord caught on a post. It momentarily stopped my dog until I could unhook the cord from the post. The cord was fine, no cuts or abrasions at all, but the sudden stop must have knocked the cord off whatever mechanism's inside. Now it's very slow to recoil or stops recoiling completely. I have a 22 pound Pug that is well within the listed 26-pound limit, and the sudden "stop" wasn't so hard that it should break anything.

So, I called Customer Service. The receptionist politely informed me that all leashes come with a one-year warranty and gave me the return address.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed. I will have to buy another leash while waiting for my replacement. Once it comes in, I'll update this review.

I foster dogs of all sizes for a local shelter. My forever dog is an 80lb lab mix. For larger dogs like our lab, the large bags are a must. We use the regular for anything under about 50lbs, I would guess. For really big dogs, like a 100lb great pyranees we had recently, even the big bags don't cut it. If you have a bear or a St Bernard, you may find these bags too small.

These bags also compost as promised, even in my slow, unmanaged home yard composter (don't worry, it doesn't go on any food crops). The bags take about 6 months to a year to degrade completely under these conditions--I would say a few months slower than "regular" slow-composting items like corn cobs, for example. It helps if you don't tie the bag off completely, or rip it right before adding to the composter, so the poo microbes can get to work heating up the surrounding compost instead of dying in the plastic while they wait.

Bought these for my 16 pound Schnauzer and they are generally just the right size. On those longer walks/jogs when he's especially, shall we say, prolific, a second bag would be helpful. So far I've managed to make it work with just the one bag- but it can be tricky. I had been concerned on occasions when it was raining out that the bag would begin degrading before I got back to the house, but despite getting close to soaked, they've always held up well.

It feels great knowing that these are certified biodegradable and compostable. I hate the idea that plastic bags full of doggie dootie are filling up our landfills.

I have 3 70 pound retriever mixes and they always have to have something in their mouths. Unfortunately, it is usually one of their fellow pack-mates that they wind up chewing on and the 3 of them get to scrapping like a scrum in a rugby game. Not very restful.

However, with 3 of the large Everlasting Treat balls stuffed with these treats, I'm good for a couple of relatively peaceful evenings. Depending on the dog and the ball, the treats usually stay in there and will one two-pack will last a couple of nights. Occasionally, the treat will "pop out" of the ball and the lucky dog will be able to chew it up in about the same amount of time as a raw-hide chip.

I like that these aren't raw-hide since raw-hide will sometimes cause digestive issues in my dogs (and there is nothing worse when 3 big dogs have digestive issues!).

I'm so glad to see Amazon sell these because my local Petsmart no longer carries them -- at least not in the size that I need. Plus, Amazon saves me a trip, shipping, and tax... happiness abounds for bi-peds and quadra-peds alike!

I've been using these for almost a month now and just ordered some more. I have two labs so I split one between the two of them every day. They LOVE them. Ok, they love any treat, but seem really excited by these. One lab already has good teeth, the other does not. Plaque covered the surface of all of her back teeth. While the plaque is not 100% gone, it is greatly improved, probably about 75% of it has been removed. I'm hopeful that with continued use, it will get even better. Also, this product does not give my dogs intestinal "issues" as other rawhide treats have done in the past. Only downside is that these chews are not consistently the same size or thickness. Great product, I am hopeful to spread out dental cleanings more as they are pricey and require the dog to be put under.

Gracie's teeth started to show a slight build up of tarter, bought these and most of the tarter is gone. Her teeth are pearly white and her breath is fresh. Saying she loves these chews is a grave understatement. A true golden (2yrs old), she is not picky and will eat most of what we give her, but with these, she will act foolish until she has one in her posession.

Choking on the chews:

Every time she chews one of these treats, she tries to swallow a large, unchewed portion of the rawhide strip that never fails to get lodged in the back of her throat. I keep thinking she'll learn to chew the entire treat, she is a smart dog in all other respects and only chokes on this particular treat. Yet with every one of these treats given to her, I have to reach in to her throat and pull out that lodged piece of rawhide. May try cutting them in half.

I am torn on these treats because they do such a great job on Gracie's teeth, she just loves them and they are affordable for daily use(unlike Greenies). Just wish they weren't rawhide.

I don't know what I would have done without Anti Icky Poo! With a name like that you know it has to be good and is it ever! We have 5 cats of which only one started out as indoor - ha ha! All rescues and/or abandoned and all neutured. HOWEVER, one is a male and if I hadn't participated in the neutering (when he was a kitten), I would swear something was left behind. He acts more like a tom and can be brutal on the girls. He is usually outdoors or in the barn at night (because of coyotes). But in the winter he hangs out inside and he & his mom (only one who can keep him in line except our border collie mix who is our enforcer!) have a downstairs room of "their own" so our nights are peaceful. In spite of his toughness with everyone else he is a real pussycat to me and I love him to pieces and it's a good thing. He'll go through spells (after being outside all day) and come in and piss on something. I don't mean marking - I mean emptying his copious bladder. I keep two litter boxes one upstairs and one down and am fanatic about cleaning them - so that is not the problem. In addition, he has been known to corner my sweet senior calico. No serious injuries - just scaring her into emptying her bladder - once on a shelf over a television resulting in it flowing into the tv and ruining it! Yes my husband is a SAINT (well, he did get that new tv out of it!) I won't bore you with all the behavior adjustment techniques (his & ours) we've gone through but he is getting better. Suffice to say during these trials and errors, Anti Icky Poo has been a life saver! I have taken completely saturated bedding outside, hosed it off, thrown in the wash with a cup of Anti Icky Poo, let soak for 24 hours and GOOD AS NEW. Works fabulous on hard surfaces and smells great at the same time. If you have similar problems, DO NOT HESITATE to try this! My dog had a pretty bad urine accident in my guest bedroom and we tried everything to get the smell out. Steam cleaning the carpet with pet-specific product only made it worse. Before I bought this product, I was convinced we were going to have to replace the carpet. We used the anti-icky poo cleaner in conjunction with the ph-balancer they sell. We also used the carpet injector, which was necessary for this job! Just follow the instructions and know that it will take at least two weeks for the smell to finally dissipate, but it definitely does! I purchased this toy for my 6 month old Alaskan Malamute. It was a great toy while it lasted. I found that she chews less of the baseboards and other things she shouldn't if I keep her occupied with these kinds of toys when I'm not home. However, with her being a big dog she was able to demolish this toy in no time. I fixed what I could and it lasted another week before she had it in quarter size pieces. I've since bought her toys similar to this that are hard rubber similar to Kong toys, but these are a little different. She has to work harder to get the kibble out. I expected to recieve a box of Greenies, which is why I ordered this. I thought that it would be a nice and neat way to store them. Instead what I recieved was a bubble bag full of individually wrapped greenies. Not neat and easily stored at all. The picture of this item shows a box, but I did not recieve a box of greenies. I wish I would have just ordered the bag of greenies, with the ziploc top, at least that is easily stored. My dog also has a sensitive stomach and food allergies, even though greenies don't have corn in them he still pukes them up and doesn't seem interested in them when I try to give him one. My larger dog has the bigger size and he likes them just fine, so I guess it just depends on your dog. My main complain about this purchase was that I didn't recieve the box of greenies that is described. Maybe they ran out and just threw 45 individually wrapped greenies in a bubble mailer, either way, that was disappointing.

Unlike the former, however, these rawhide chews are not soft and pliable, but rigid and crunchy. Each Stix is a compressed , cylindrical stick formed with bits of rawhide, chicken, and pork. Dingo® tells us that these Stix have the same great taste as the larger chicken/rawhide chews in an easy to chew treat. I had previously purchased Dingo mini rawhide bones for my parents Siberian Husky and Shar Pei and those two ate those bones without any hesitation. With this knowledge, I thought that I would try these Munchy Stix for our Yorkshire Terrier for Christmas. At the time, Amazon had these for a ridiculously low price and I purchased way more than was needed to fill her stocking. She ate these up like there was no tomorrow and they leave little to no crumbs afterwards. I do not know what else I can say about these, as I can not comment on their flavor or texture, but our puppy loves them.

I ordered the WalkyDog about a month ago. We have a 110 lb. Anatolian Shepherd mix, and it is impossible for me to give him the exercise he needs with a walk or a trip to the dog park. He is big, he is fast and he pulls! He's also not quite a year old yet, so he is full of puppy curiosity. I would absolutely suggest the WalkyDog to anyone who asked. I landed myself in the hospital from a dog/bike/leash accident, and I just cringe every time I see someone biking their dog witout a bike leash! The stability with the WalkyDog is good, even when he wants to stop. When he sees a bird and tries to veer off, he can't go anywhere. I can feel him try to pull, and that was a bit scary at first, but we're used to it now.

So far, the WalkyDog has been wonderful, with the exception that he spins the bar and or seat. My husband currently has it on his bike, without the rubber piece, and when Harvey stopped to pee the seat rotated. I suspect there's just not much we can do about it since he's such a big dog. Another issue is that Harvey is such a puller that I cannot use his collar because he chokes himself, but won't slow down. I use the WalkyDog with the Premier Easy Walk dog harness, and that seems to help with the choking.

The title says it all. I bought one of these for my golden retriever when i got her at 8 weeks old because I wanted her to have a way to burn more energy off. We've been going on rides ever since. I now attach my smaller dog to her and both dogs ride via this one walkie-dog. Even a super-high energy golden who is easily distracted by everything that comes across her path can't get off my path with this thing. It keeps her right in step with me on my beach cruiser.

I first came to amazon to check out a different dog walking bike attachment, but then saw this one and liked its simplicity and much lower cost, plus I read someone else's positive review so I bought one, too. Attached very easily to my bike and off we went with my leash-trained 90 lb. dog. Within a few moments she was turning, stopping and running alongside me on my bike. I like how the handle detaches quickly and easily from the clamp and can be used as a leash when we get to our destination.

I made the mistake of leaving the handle attached to my bike when I didn't have the dog hooked to it. It rotated back toward the tire and the snap hooked onto my wheel and broke off. But it was a cheap and easy repair to attach a new one... there is even a little video online showing how to repair / replace the cord and hook to the handle. So we are off and running again only now I make sure and detach the handle when not taking the dog with me.

I am pretty satisfied with this product. My Saturn Ion did not have back head rests, but I was able to use the latch system. My Camry has back head rests, so it's much easier to install the hammock.

My English Springer was able to slip under the hammock at the side edge, but fortunately, he did not like sitting on the floor. He is also able to step over the front of the hammock onto the dividing arm rest, but I have trained him to stay in the back.

After more than a year, the stitching of the velcro closure (that lets you open the hammock to allow a human passenger to slip in without removing the whole hammock) ripped on one side, and now the seat gets exposed pretty often. But hey, for the price, I can afford a new one once a year.

This fits pretty good in my Kia Sportage. It sags a bit in between the two front seats, and for smaller cars, it might be worse. But the Sportage isn't a very wide vehicle. It's pretty average. I expect this would fit perfectly in large SUVs.

It works as expected. It keeps hair off the seats, and that is the only thing I got it for. There was no smell. Fairly easy to remove quickly in case you need to seat people in the backseat. There are straps that wedge in the seat so that the hammock does not move around. That is definitely a plus, but if you want to remove the hammock quickly, it can add some difficulty.

I would also like to comment on the material. It is a tough nylon material, which is great for durability, but if you're worried about your pet sliding around, it could be a problem.

I bought this because our dog's (a Golden Retriever) hair always covered the carpet. This necessitated vacuuming 3-4 times a week. The hair also got all over our clothes. After using the furminator these problems are no more! I would only caution against using it more that 1 time a week as it does take off a lot of hair/fur. My wife thinks the dog has a "layered cut" look. Our dog seems to like her brushing now, where before she did not like it at all. I heartily recommend this product.

I love the FURminators, and when I saw that they had come out with a FURejector I really wanted it. I live in a rural town, so the easiest way to get the product was online. The FURminator part of this product works just as wonderfully as the original.Down side it. When you eject the fur, it's full of static charge so it flips to the top of the FURminator. I end up pulling it off the top to throw it in the bag I keep beside me while combing our cat. Sometimes this means using both hands, which with some cats this means kitty can escape. (My cat dosen't like to be combed) I was hoping the ejector part would eliminate the need to use both hands to remover the fur, allowing me to keep a hold of kitty. So unless you want the comfy grip, which is quite nice, just stick with the original.

Okay, we had a doggie door already in place at the house we bought so why not get a dog? We're a family with 3 small children and what could round us out more? What we didn't realize was that the sneaky neighbor cat liked to use the "doggie door" on cold January nights. So, we purchase an electronic doggie door to keep said "sneaky neighbor cat" OUT! We install it and realize that the door wasn't working properly. We called customer service and they sent us a replacement door with very few questions asked. Installed the new door and for some reason the door doesn't like to unlock until the "key" is RIGHT NEXT TO THE DOOR and even then, it has to be positioned a certain way to work. I don't know if the batteries were old or not. Now, we just manually lock the door at night and hope to rememeber to unlock it in the morning.

My cat's lives have forever changed with the invention of this product.

I've known for a long time that their normal body temperature is much higher than ours. I've placed old wool sweaters or a wool shawl that i accidentally shrank [and felted] under the folded towels I use for "cat beds". [Having cat beds is a great way to collect cat hair and keep things clean because you can throw them in the washer, unlike your furniture.] And I could see they liked that. But this is so much better! They are in cat heaven!

They definitely work. All you need to do is push on it with your hand for 10 seconds and you should feel the temperature increase. If this doesn't happen, you must have a defective one.

If they get too hot, then try putting another layer over them. And notice that the Large size gives off over 3 times the heat of the small size.

I've found that the small size does not give off quite enough heat for my really cold cats. For the regular cats this is enough. I'm going to try a medium and see what that does.

I thought that 2 cats would share a large one and they do. But they prefer not to. They like to be out of striking distance of each other! So i put 2 different colors of towels over this one and that helps them feel they have their own area. I was trying to save money and cut down on cords. It gets plenty hot and after some time on it, they get up and move to a cooler place, or just leave their feet on it.

I've got enough beds for 4 cats now. Have 3 more cats to outfit, and one of those is mostly outside, by decision of the cats that already live in the house! So i will try an outdoor unit for her.

These pads are so good that your cats may spend their lives on them and forego human cuddling. Watch out!

I've just come into the house after a walk in, I'm embarrassed to say, 9 degree weather. We have snow and ice on the road but the sun is out and makes it feel so warm I didn't need my gloves otherwise I try to wait until the thermometer reads at least 32. As for my darling Golden boys (18 months and 2 1/2, 90 lbs each), they had a very, did I mention very, minimal amount of ice buildup after a 1 mile hike. I am very impressed. My only suggestion to improve the application of Mushers Secret Paw Protector would be that the container be wide enough to rub the bottoms of their feet in it to facilite the process. I feel as though I am dressing two small children to get them ready for fun in the snow but have to say the use of this cream is a fantastic aid for those who refuse boots. I will definitely be faithful in the use of this cream to protect the pads and inbetweens of my guys. I can't help but feel they enjoy the rubbing to apply the cream as well.

Large crates are crazy expensive. I was looking around on craigslist for a used 42" crate for my 6 month old Labrador, because I wasn't going to spend $200+ on a crate at a pet store. Then I found this, I paid $65 for a 42" crate with free super saver shipping. I got it within 3 days via fedex. Thats fast shipping!

My puppy took to it right away. We weren't crate training her for potty training, she's got that down. But whenever I left she would get separation anxiety and would either cry the entire time or open up my dresser and make a bed for herself. When we first got it, I set it up, stuck her blanket and box of toys in there, and left it there for a week. By the end of the first day she was playing in there, now she likes sleeping in there even when we're home. She feels a lot more secure while we're gone, no more howling or getting into stuff. She usually sleeps or chews on her kong or nylabone while we're gone now.

Its decent quality, it certainly isn't a heavy gauge wire, but it does its job just fine. It comes with a divider, so you can make it smaller for puppies, and expand it as they grow. Nice touch in my opinion. It has an ABS plastic tray, I think I'd prefer metal if I was training a puppy not to "go" in the crate, just a thought. The tray can also be slid out by the dog inside fairly easily. I looped two zipties across where it slides out, and it stays in now. That would be a pain if you needed to remove it, but it works for my purposes.

For the people saying it collapses, one word: zipties! Zipties are your friend. Use eight zip ties, four on the front, four on the back. Two per side. Another trick is to use pliers on the clips on the top a little bit so they can't pop out. I only had a problem once with it collapsing, and I had my dog, and a friends german shepherd in there. They had plenty of room, even with both in there. I wouldn't recommend putting two dogs in a crate normally, but those two are best buddies, and we had to leave for 15 minutes. When we got back, they both got a little excited and rammed the door, causing the front to pop out. Zipties make it virtually impossible for that to happen again.

My Pug puppies absolutely love these bones. The only negative aspect is that they get sticky & leave a green film that dries to a green crust on their front legs & paws (& whatever they're laying on, usually the sofa!) Long after the bone has been chewed to a little nub & swallowed, my beautiful girls are licking their paws & staring at me, begging for another with their big, sad eyes. Even though my puppies are only 12 lbs & just under 8 months old, I give them the regular size. The smaller ones just don't last long enough with my power chewers. I usually try to wrestle the small end from my girls before they get swallowed, as I do with EVERY treat they get, but I'm rarely successful. They have the habit of swallowing pieces that seem far too large for them, but I've never had a problem with these bones. I've never had any pieces reappear later (in any form) or had any blockage or choking problems. I'm fully convinced that the bones dissolve quickly & safely in their tummies.

A lot of people have negative things to say about these treats, even our vet has a note about these specific bones causing "digestive upset" on his website, but I have had nothing but wonderful experiences (since purchasing washable slipcovers for our furniture!)

If you're worried about trying these treats, I'd suggest giving a larger size than is called for & observing your fur-child like any good parent should.

Common sense for all pet owners: Take the end of any treat away before it can be swallowed. If you haven't already, ask your vet to teach you the doggie heimlich maneuver & doggie CPR, just in case.

I give these to my dog to help with her minor tartar problems. She LOVES them and they definitely do the job.

One of my favorite things about them is that they are sturdy and coated enough that I can freeze them--I put one in a small plastic bag (snack bag folded in half) full of water and freeze it for a few hours. Then my dog has to lick and crunch up the ice to get to the treat, which keeps her busy AND gets her more fluids. Most dog treats tend to dissolve and become mushy when you do this with them, but these guys definitely hold up.

We gave this to my dog for Christmas. She is a 35 lb mix who loves 'stuffed animals' and has several. She 'plays' with her animals - fetches them, carries them around, cuddles up with them, squeezes them to make them squeak. She does not chew them up or pull them apart.

But this rabbit fell apart immediately. she pulled out the seam and the stuffing before we even sat down to christmas dinner. My sister-in-law sewed it back up, and all was well, but the squeaker (which sounds more like a duck call than anything) stopped working within a couple of weeks.

So - in the end, my assessment is that, especially for the price, this is a very poor quality item. But the dog does love it. It's still her favorite toy.

We have been very happy with the AKC brand of stuffed chew animals. We have had the raccoon and the squirrel both have lasted. The squirrel lasted a month and came to it's end with a game of tug of war with a 90 lb lab and our 35 lb pit mix. The raccoon is only on day 5 but looks like it will last equally as long.

The rabbit on the other hand, was brought home today, and the belly stuffing and squeaker where out and everywhere in less then 10 minutes. We are very disappointed.

My Wire Fox Terrier loves stuffed animals. We have dead carcases of previous store bought animals all over the place with the stuffing ripped completely out. But, he still likes to chew on the empty remains of the stuffed animal. It usually takes Boswell just a couple of days before he had ripped all of the cotton (and the squeaker) out. But, this rabbit is going on a week and still holding up strong. He lost his little tail last night, and he's pretty crusty from all the chewing, but otherwise it's one tough bunny. It was certainly worth the price and I'm sure that when this bunny finally does die, I'll replace it with another one. I used to give my dog one of those green dental bones every night. They were pricey -- it added up to about $50 a month. Then I switched to a cheaper brand, but I found he ate those within a couple of minutes.

These are actually cheaper and take longer to chew than the various edible dental bones. (I am not sure why, but my dog can consume normal rawhide faster than these chews). It takes him a satisfying amount of time to chew, and seems to help his teeth and breath. I am really glad I tried these! They may look like rawhide but are much better.

I have a Rescue Weiner dog with teeth that had very bad tartar from front to back. Simply said, they were total brown. The vet suggested scraping which costs about $90.00. She sold me the large size (bag of 15 each) for about $18.00. Foxie the Weiner dog loves them. I also gave her Cow knees fron the butcher shop. (You can bake the knees to get rid of the grease and rancid smell.)The combination of the two has cleaned the dogs teeth remarkably in about thirty + days. She no longer needs to have her teeth scraped. I searched many internet sources for these products. With the $25.00 minimum Amazon supersaver shiping I saved about 45% off of the vet's cost and about 20% to 30% from many online vendor's.I saved $ by buying the large size, then cut them in half with a sharp knife or poultry shears.To keep you dog from vomiting the chew, use the large or extra large size. Take the chew away after 15-20 minutes before the dog can soften the entire chew, swallow it whole and gag/vomit!

I am very pleased with this warming pad. It is very similar in design to the camping pad Thermarest with a pull out valve for self inflation. Except of course there is a heating element sandwiched between the medium density foam sheets. Just like the Thermarest pads, this pad can be deflated and rolled up for transport or storage. True to description, when my canine pal is not curled up on it, the temperature hovers just above ambient. But once she is settled in, her weight sets it off and it gets very toasty warm.

Be advised that the overall dimensions given for the pad includes a 3/4 inch laminated seam all around. The actual dimensions of the padded/heated area is therefore 1 1/2 inches shy. I.e. the medium reports 19" X 24". And the dimensions of the pad or actual heating area is 17 1/2' X 22 1/2".

Overall, this is a far better product than a couple others I have tried and returned because it was too hard (stiff plastic that manufacturer specified couldn't be covered-learned after receipt of item), or inadequate (tiny heating pad sandwiched in medium size pad, that barely warmed up!)

As some people mentioned, the fit did not work for my dog. I have a small Beagle and she had grown out of her small puppy harness which was this same model (which seemed to work fine). I purchased the next size up and it fit well in terms of size and through my experience with the previous harness, it was mounted properly on her. As I took her on our usual jog, I noticed her legs didn't have a full range of motion. I immediately shortened our jog as I was concerned with the harness. We got home and I noticed the harness and completely chafed her skin raw under her front legs. This may fit better on your dog but it did not fit well on my Beagle. Returned the harness immediately for a better product.

In terms of appeal, both of my dogs really like this toy. They seem to love the idea of finally bagging a squirrel which have always elusively teased both of them for years in the park. And they might love the idea a little too much -- they disemboweled the squirrel within about 24 hours.

There are squeakers in the tail and in the body of the squirrel. The tail is made of an odd material that is almost like fluffy horse hair, which, if you have a dog that chews on toys at all, you will find all over your carpet, couch, and bed for the first few days after this arrives. Both squeakers were out of the squirrels body within about 48 hours. My dogs continued to chew on the squeakers separately from the remainder of the toy, only from what I can assume is the desire to destroy what they think is the squirrel's soul after tearing up its body.

Overall, since they still play with the emptied-out body that is missing half its tail, it will still have some use beyond the first few days it came, so it warrants 2 stars.

The squirrel lasted less than 48 hours. Generally the least expensive stuffed toys from pet stores last 3 to 4 months before the fabric rips. My dog likes to "kill" the toy, have someone throw it, retrieve it, play tug-of-war and start the process again. In a matter of minutes the fur was coming off. After the third or forth "kill," stuffing was flying all over the living room. Never have I bought a toy that fell apart as quickly as did this squirrel. I will sew the rips and see if we can get another few hours of play as my dog really liked the toy.

My mother bought this plush squirrel for my dog since he loves to chase real squirrels outside. This is easily one of his favorite toys. He loves to chase after it if I throw it and will spend a lot of time shaking and wrestling with it. Unfortunately I've learned it's a toy that he can only play with under supervision. He loves to chew and I found that within a matter of a few days he had chewed one of the feet off and was proceeding to try to eat the stuffing out of the center of the toy. I still let him play with it but only for small intervals at a time and only if I can watch him. The bottom line is this, it's a fun toy but no more durable than your average dog toy. If your dog destroys your average toy chances are he'll chew through this as well. It's great when I can watch him but for unsupervised play I'll only leave him with something like a kong or a Everlasting Treat Ball Large. I feel much more comfortable with those that I can leave him alone and not come home to find he has ingested something he shouldn't have.

My little monster (a golden retriever) absolutely goes crazy for this toy. He usually carries it everywhere with him, and if he happens to be outside without it and someone comes over, he has to run in to get it to show it to them. He's also a toy-shredder as some of the other dogs here, but in my experience this toy holds up very well to his manic episodes. The only problem I really have is trying to keep it clean, since he loves to repeatedly bury and dig it up. I buy him a new one every 5 or 6 months as a treat and it's probably the happiest time of the year for him. He has a small stash of them now that he keeps behind his bed.

Great product, especially for the price. A minor annoyance is that he's decided the squeaking is a fun way for him to get me out of bed to play with him.

This bag holder seems fairly indestructible. Somehow, other varieties seem to break off or fall off the leash, especially if they get dragged any distance. It is noisy though, if it drags along the sidewalk. I suppose it could be fastened under the dog's collar, but it's rather large for that.

Not my favorite task, but now not so awful either. I carry the dispenser around and when it's time to use it I pull out a bag, pick up the mess, and we're on our way. For years I've been using the shopping bags from grocery stores, and I can't tell you the number of times I've pulled one out only to discover it had a hole in it! Besides, the trend at grocery stores is increasingly to use your own re-usable canvas bags so there goes that supply source. These are a much more reliable way to go.

Purchased SportDOG Rechargeable NoBark 10R Bark Control Collar in Oct, 2009. My little Min Pin doesn't like to be away from his Dad, but my girlfriend doesn't like him to sleep in bed with us. So we shut the bedroom door at night, and he would sit at the door and bark all night! The collar did the trick and not a single yep out of him. Unfortunately the collar stopped holding a charge, even though it showed "charging" when plugged in. I called SportDOG at 1-800-732-0144, explained the problem and they were amazing! They sent me a brand new unit, along with a prepaid label to return the broken unit. I didn't pay a penny for shipping or the replacement. WOW... NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I must have gotten a defective unit, as there are so many positive reviews on here, but mine simply wouldn't charge or turn on. Very disappointing considering the price - I had decided on this as an upgrade from a less expensive brand. I did the return through Amazon, and their customer service is fabulous, so no real loss - they even paid for the return shipping.

We have a collie - about 70 lbs. Bought this because it takes both sound and vibration to activate. Within two days our dog got the hang of it. We have had it for about three weeks. He does not bark outside with it on, and he is much quieter when he is outside without it. We do not use it indoors. We also have an invisible fence, and we were worried about him getting confused. He was for the first few corrections, but quickly learned the difference and is using the full perimeter of the yard without issue.

We have a Havanese about 15 pounds, and while this looks a little bit large on his neck, he doesn't seem to mind it. It has been effective at curing the barking habit! He will now growl lightly, but he doesn't bark when it is on. He has only gotten the 'shock' about 3 or so times, and while he let out a little yelp when it happened, the bark stopped, and he went back to his normal business, so he wasn't 'traumatized' by it. I have checked his neck to make sure there are no burn marks or anything on it (some other products I reviewed mentioned this), and there's no problem with this one. It sometimes seems to 'shift' out of position on his neck after he's been outside on a leash, so we have to readjust it when he comes back inside, but that's been the only issue. He doesn't even wear it very often anymore - he can go entire days without it and no barking. When he seems to 'forget', we put it back on for a bit, and he quickly remembers. It may be a little more expensive than some of the others out there, but I think it's worth it.

This product is useful and I use it on my border collie. Those with BCs also know they shed like there's no tomorrow. I do attempt to brush my boy daily, but he still leaves behind trails of hair like nobody's business. I have to say, this tool has significantly improved his coat condition as well as reduced the hair I must tidy up after. Like any product, however, this is not some magical cureall, as shedding is always going to be an issue. So yeah, this product is wonderful and outstanding... and my dog is more tolerant with the furminator than he is with a different brush... also the furjector thing is pretty darn nice. It takes both my hands to keep my wiggly creature in place, so being able to just eject the fur was a neat function. The only reason I rate it on a 4 as opposed to a 5 is that I think it is not anywhere near worth the 'full price' range. :P Of course, I definitely didnt pay close to it, but this little rake isn't that beefed up. It is nice, convenient, easy to use, and just plain handy.

This tool is awesome for my husky, or any long haired dog with a double coat. The furejector is awesome, im glad we got the version with it. This way i just furminate next to a trashcan and use my free hand to continuously pet my dog. The only drawback to the furminator is, for it to be really effective at stopping shedding, you have to furminate a LOT. but that is to be expected and the device works exactly like it says it does. you will be amazed how much loose hair you pull off.

I ordered this de-shedding tool because my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel sheds so much that, when you pet her, so much hair gets stuck to your hand that you look like a werewolf. The first time we used the FURminator de-shedding tool, we ended up with a third of a paper grocery bag filled with loose hair. I no longer have to brush my dog twice a day to catch all the loose fur, and she doesn't seem to mind it either, just relaxing or playing quietly while I comb her with it. This thing is a life (and area rug and furniture) saver.

My 3 LH Dachshunds were in desperate need of a good deshedding tool for their very thick hair. I had tried the cheap ones from the store, and the Furminator is like the cadillac of deshedding tools! High quality construction, comfortable gel grip and the ejector button allows one hand operation. Particullarly important if you have a squirmy doxie on your lap! Just place the furminator on their body, and gently run down. You will have to use this several times over extra thick coats, but it does work very, very well. Highly recommend!

This comb/brush does a fairly good job keeping our Pug from shedding, however, it works best if you use the furminator spray (sold separately). It's a little rough on our pups skin so we have to be very careful not to "dig in" too deep.
